Becky Baldwin
Senior Designer, Interior Design, Residential & Commercial
Becky Fox Baldwin is a native of Chatham County, North Carolina. At an early age, she realized her love and talent for designing and decorating. Her first job was in a furniture manufacturing plant making high quality office and school furniture. While there, she learned a great deal about furniture design and construction.
In 1980, Becky, her husband, and their two daughters relocated to Wake County which was experiencing a boom in technology, telecommunications and general population growth. Becky then began work in a paint, wallpaper and flooring showroom in Harnett County. This experience added greatly to her already extensive knowledge of the furniture industry. New home construction burst open, giving Becky access to many opportunities working with home builders. She is proficient at both residential and commercial interior design. Commercial projects have included many commercial banks, churches and buildings (including Campbell University). Becky has also gained additional design experience while working for furniture stores, cabinet shops and other floor covering businesses; her knowledge and talents provide clients with turn-key services for remodeling or updating any room in their home or business.
Becky would call herself a traditionalist, but loves the newer, modern lines available today. As she says, “It’s exciting to design with mixing both traditional and contemporary styles.” Fun and easy going, she loves to work with clients of all ages in making their home warm, comfortable and affordable for their personal lifestyles.
For the past 20 years, Becky maintained her own decorating business in the Raleigh area; providing design consultations, window treatments, flooring and furnishings for both residential and commercial projects. Becky is thrilled to be back in the Pinehurst area and part of the Village Design Group team.
Becky Baldwin has been featured as a Parade of Home Designer for Home Builders in Wake, Johnston, Harnett and Moore Counties. She has also designed and furnished model homes for various builders in the Raleigh area. Becky is a member of the Interior Design Society.
